I am Sam. Sam I am. I am a lover of all things random. I love art, photography, family, friends, cocktails, nights out, nights in, blogging, movies, hair, nail polish, yoga, running, hiking, music, the outdoors, the Western states, animals, landscapes, interior decorating... I mean as you can see my interests are extremely varied. I have two adorable, naughty, sweet faced boys- Gavin (4) and Jude (2). I am a stay-at-homer who never imagined I would be having a "career" taking care of my own children. I am lucky most days and some days contemplating what my next move will be. I tell it like it is and don't shy from many topics. This is my blog, my open book.

I am married to Dan, the handyman. He is the most helpful husband around, that is when he's around. Dan is an extremely hard worker. He is a Union Pipe and Duct Insulator (know what that is?- yea, it took me almost five years to really get an understanding for what his daily job entails) by day and a crafty carpenter by night, not every night, but you get the picture. When he's not busy helping others with their construction he's here tinkering in the garage or building me something, helping someone. He is a great father and I've never seen a little boy want to be just like their daddy like I've seen my own little Gavin. He thinks his father can do no wrong and wants to grow up to be just like him, that is if his farmer ways and cowboy dreams don't pan out. 

We are here in Litchfield, Minnesota in the town we both left and never wanted to come back to and are fixing up our small, cozy, starter home in hopes of building our dream home (that we already have prints of), or moving to our dream location in Bozeman, Montana. We'll see what the end result is, but for now we're just living the simple everyday life.
